Hattie Mae Warren

Mrs. Hattie Warren, 87, of Hickman died Sunday, August 23, 2020, at her residence.

A viewing will be held from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 29, 2020, at The Anointed Church of The Living God in Union City. Interment will follow in Hickman City Cemetery.

Mrs. Hattie Mae Jones Warren, 88 , was born on March 2, 1932 to Mrs. Lucille Currie Thompson and Mr. Willie B. Jones in Bolivar, Tennessee.

Mrs. Hattie was preceded in death by: her husband, Robert “Rock” Warren; mother and father, Lucille Thompson (Frank) and Willie B. Jones; siblings, Earl Thompson, Joe Thompson, Lovell Thompson, Betty Jean Booker, Margarett Ann McCauley, Hershelle Thompson, Jessie B. Bledsoe; grandson, Gregory Warren.

She was a resident of Hickman, Kentucky for over 60 years. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great and great great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She was a praying woman and a believer of God, who loved listening to her gospel music and feeding and housing all in need. She was originally a member of New Pentecostal Temple located in Humboldt, Tennessee under the late Bishop Meadows and later
fellowshipped with Anointed Church Of The Living God under the pastorship of
Bishop Carr.

She leaves to cherish her memories: five Sons – Robert (Patricia) Warren, Jackson, TN; Willie Warren (Eyvette Faulkner), Paducah, KY; Ralph Warren (Isabella Hewelett), Jackson, TN; Kevin Warren (Melissa Nolan), Union City, TN and Melvin Lee Pritchard, Kansas City, KS, five Daughters – Carolyn (Anthony) Curtis, Hickman, KY; Dinah Warren (Sylvester Cole), Hickman, KY; Elizabeth (Jackie) Gilbert, Hickman, KY; Delois Crumble (Donald Purvine), Hickman, KY and Ruby E. Warren, Memphis, TN; fifteen Grandchildren - thirtyfive Great Grandchildren and five Great Great Grandchildren; three Sisters – Annie Prayton, Detroit, MI; Mary Helen Marney, Milwaukee, WI; and Virginia Taylor, Union City, TN; three Brothers – Jimmie Cobb, Humboldt, TN; Carl Ray Webb, Milan, TN and Gerold Thompson, Indianapolis, IN. She also leaves a host of other relatives and friends. Special Friend - Mrs. Mary Allen, Hickman, KY; and a God Daughter – Valerie McElrath.
