Mrs. Hazel Morris, 81, of Fulton died Monday, December 20, 2021, at Clinton Place.
Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, December 27, 2021, at Greater Antioch Missionary Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Greenlea Cemetery.
Visitation will begin at noon on Monday at the church.
Mrs. Hazel Marie Martin Morris was born on July 17, 1940, in Cayce, Kentucky, to the late Boss Martin and Elizabeth Johnson Martin.
She attended the public schools of Cayce, Kentucky. At an early age she professed her faith in Jesus Christ and joined Cayce Baptist Church. She later joined the Greater Antioch Missionary Baptist Church in Fulton, Kentucky. She was a dedicated and faithful member until her death.
She was united in holy matrimony to Lucas 0. Morris for 33 years. He preceded her in death in 2013.
Hazel loved her family and the Lord. She loved to sing gospel songs, sewing and cooking. As a result of her Christian life and generous spirit, she will forever remain in the lives of all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her son, Timmy Joe Martin , her grandson, Bryan Martin , and her sister, Crystal Martin.
She leaves to celebrate her life and cherish her memory: two sons, Stacey (Rea) Easley and Mark (Sheila) Johnson both of South Fulton, TN; one daughter, Patricia Hayes of Paducah, KY; fifteen grandchildren, thirty great-grandchildren and eight great-great grandchildren; two brothers, Jewell Martin of Fulton, KY and TJ Johnson of El Paso, TX; four sisters, Annie Ruth (Tony) Ratliff of Topeka, KS, Margaret (Delbert) Jackson of St. Louis, MO, Doris Martin of Texas, and Mable Martin of Fulton, KY; special childhood friend Joanne Alexander of South Fulton, TN; a host of devoted nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
