Mr. Henry Lee Moses III, 43, of Bowling Green, KY formerly of Union City died Monday, December 2, 2013, at Medical Center at Bowling Green.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, December 7, 2013, at Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. A. E. McCadney officiating. Interment will follow in East View Cemetery.
Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. at Rawls Funeral Home Chapel on Friday.
The morning of December 2 2013 a wonderful Son, husband, father, grandfather, and friend was called to the holding cell of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Henry Lee Moses III was born on October 19, 1970 to Ellarine Moses and the late Henry Lee Moses Jr.
Mr. Moses grew up in Union City, Tn and graduated from Union City High School in 1988.
He met the love of his life his ride or die chick his soulmate in Humboldt, Tn in 1992. He later was united into holy matrimony to Sherron McElrath Moses on March 25, 1994 and to this union they had seven children. He leaves to cherish his memory Brandon Miller of LaGrange, Ky, Dominike Lewis of Houston, Tx, Sierra Moses of Fredonia, Ky, Kierra Moses of Union City, Tn, Jodeci Moses, Chauncey Moses, and Ashyria Moses of Bowling Green, Ky. Henry had six siblings Otondaette (Wayne) Felton, Evickiette Lawson, Arisa Moses all of Union City, Tn. Tiereney(Shae)Muhammad of Houston, Tx, Chinyere Moses of Smyrna, Tn. and Emeka Moses of Erwin, Tn. He had four grandchildren Avionna Miller, Lilyana Moses, Jagger Moses and Ka’son Hayes. He also leaves three aunts, one uncle and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.Henry also was a lovely godfather to 4 kids that he and his wife had a hand in raising Kalcey,Tanisha,Jarvis,Marquisha.
Henry was employed at TAF in Bowling Green, Ky. He was dearly loved on his job. No task has ever been too hard for him.
Henry was a very kind hearted person and never met a stranger. When he was around he could always turn a frown into a smile. His smile was definitely his personality.
Henry was a member of Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church in Union City, Tn. He accepted Christ when he was 9 years old.
He was preceded in death by his father and his grandparents Henry Lee Moses, Sr., Ada King, Ella Abbott, and Daniel Robinson.
