Ives Henderson, Jr.

Mr. Ives Henderson,Jr., 74, of McKenzie died Tuesday, June 07, 2011, at McKenzie Regional Hospital. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 14, 2011, at Rawls Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. George H. Nolen officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Olive Cemetery in McKenzie. Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home. He was born on October 28, 1936, in Bearden, AR to Ives Sr. and Bessie Mae (Christian) Henderson who have preceded him in death. He accepted Christ in his life at an early age and was united with Greater Mt. Olive in Bearden, AR. He was a retired construction worker. Those left to cherish his memories are two sons, Richie (Malissa) Henderson of Paris, TN, and Carl (Muriel) Newton of Beloit, WI; three daughters Shelia Henderson, of Oakland, CA, Kechia (Dwarry) Dudley, Lushane (Chris) Allen both of McKenzie, TN; two brothers, Bill (Nora) Henderson of Lansing, MI, Clyde (Pat) Henderson of Nashville, TN; two sisters, Mary McDaniel of Bearden , AR and Erma Henderson of Oakland, CA. 14 grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
