Jaashun Ingram

June 22, 2005 — January 24, 2025

Mr. Jaashun Ingram, 19, of Norcross, GA, formerly of Union City died Friday, January 24, 2025.

Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday February 8, 2025, at True Gospel Baptist Church. Interment will follow in East View Cemetery.

Visitation will begin at noon on Saturday at the church.

Jaashun was born on June 22, 2005, to Tiffany Ingram and Jeremy Davis in Jackson TN where he accepted Christ at a young age. “Simo’ as his friends would call him had an amazing sense of humor and a beautiful laugh! His wit was razor sharp and he was known to say the most shocking thing he could think of in hopes of making you laugh and grabbing your attention. Jaashun’s biggest passion was for music for which he garnered the stage name “Simo”. He also enjoyed spending time with family, friends and tagging along with his big brother Kendreaus playing basketball or video games.

In I Thessalonians 4: 13-14 “But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. “For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with HIM.

Although Jaashun’s life would seem too short to many, but those of us who were Blessed to be touched by him understand that his existence and the imprint he left on our hearts exceed the quantity of time that he stayed here.  To his brothers and sisters, he made at Creekland HS, Central HS, Berkmark HS and Union City HS, thank you for loving and giving him his flowers on earth!

Jaashun is survived by his loving parents Tiffany Ingram and Jeremy Davis. Two brothers and one sister, Kendreaus Moss, Jeffery Davis and Charnise Daniels. Five aunts, Tynshia Fountain, DiNiece Fountain, Sarah Alford, Alicia (Cody) McCarthey, and Tomeka Fountain. Five uncles, Kenneth (Amber) Brown Jr., Justin Williams, Christopher (Jasmine) Williams, Orlando Williamson and Marcus Davis. Paternal grandmother Clara Davis, Godfather Jason Holman and a host of cousins, uncles, aunts and friends.

He is preceded to heaven by his maternal grandparents Marcell and Yvette Ingram. Paternal grandfather Craig Holt and one sister Christiana Williams.
