Mr. Jackie Maddox, 57, died Monday, June 29, 2015, at his residence.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, July 3, 2015, at First United Methodist Church with Rev. A.E. McCadney officiating. Interment will follow in East View Cemetery.
Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. on Friday at the church.
Loyal Johnson Jr. “Jackie Maddox” was born on March 25, 1958, in Union City, TN to Mary and Loyal Johnson Sr. He attended Union City School System and accepted Jesus Christ at an early age serving at Brown Chapel A.M.E. Church under the leadership of Reverend W.T. Atkins. He was employed by Reynolds Brothers Tire Company and Herman Jenkins Motors. Jackie was an avid fisherman, cyclist and die hard Tennessee Vols fan.
Jackie is preceded in death by his father Loyal Johnson Sr.
He is survived by his parents, Ardell and Mary Maddox of Union City, TN; his brothers, Reginald Maddox of South Fulton, TN, Eric Maddox of Union City, TN and Terri (Pam) Maddox of Dallas, TX; his sister Seebrina (Ferris) Jennings of Chicago, IL; his children Jackie (LaSonia) Lewis of Union City, TN, Belincia Brooks of Martin, TN, Javonte Polk of Union City, TN, Cortez Carmen of Mayfield, KY, Shameika Johnson of Hickman, KY, Shamelle Pierce of Hickman, KY; his aunt Martha Pettigrew of Plano, TX; four grandchildren; special devoted friend, Shelly Watson, several cousins, nieces, nephews and a host of relatives and friends.
