Jackie Tharpe

Mr. Jackie Tharpe, 61, of Paris died Friday, November 22, 2013, in Nashville. Services will be held at noon on Saturday, November 30, 2013, at Tennessee Valley Community Church with Rev. M.A. Richardson officiating. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. on Saturday at the church. He was born March 17, 1952, in Paris, he was the son of Robbie Milliken Hutcherson of Paris and the late Robert Lee Tharpe, who died in 1987. He was the stepson of R.L. Hutcherson of Paris. Tharpe was a member of Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church. He also leaves five children: Chris Kinley and Meshica “Lady” Nored, both of Paris, Antione Burton and Anthony Tharpe, both of Indianapolis, and Amesha Nored of Michigan; Twelve siblings: Thomas Earl (Diane) Tharpe, William (Marilyn) Tharpe, Hattie Tharpe Kendall, Peggy (Cleman) Wilson, Hoza (Bernita) Hutcherson, Kenneth, Timothy and Stella Hutcherson and Tony (Debbie) Hutcherson, all of Paris, O.L. (Joyce) Hutcherson of Shreveport, La., Johnny (Jeanna) Hutcherson of Fort Worth, Texas, and Terry Croom of Paducah; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
