Mr. James Breedlove "J.B" Milam, 87, of McKenzie died Monday, April 30, 2018, at his residence. Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 5, 2018, at Obion River District Association Headquarters. Interment will follow in Mt. Olive Cemetery. Visitation will begin at noon on Saturday at Obion River District Association Headquarters.James affectionately known as “J.B.” was born September 12, 1930 in Henry, Tennessee to his late parents George and Nell Walls Milam. J.B. attended school in Henry, Tennessee. He enlisted in the United States Army during the Korean conflict. He received an honorable discharge. He was employed by Spinks Clay Company and Gaines Manufacturing Company. He was an active member of Johnson Temple CME Church. He served on the Usher Board and Steward Board until his health began to fail. After returning home from the military, he married his lovely sweetheart, Mary Margret Kee. To this union four children were born. J.B. is cherished by three sons; Gregory (Esther) Milam of Jackson, TN, James (Rosalyn) Milam, and Thomas (Josephine) Milan both of McKenzie, TN, one daughter; Wanda Jean Ricks of Memphis, TN, eight grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren, one brother, W.C. Milam, one sister, Patsy Blakemore both of Henry, TN, a host of nieces, nephews, additional relatives and friends. He was highly respected by his family.
