James "Pee Wee" Edward Puckett

Mr. James "Pee Wee" Puckett, 88, of Paris died Friday, February 4, 2022, at his home. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 12, 2022, in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 11:30 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. on Saturday at Rawls Funeral Home Chapel. He was born on May 6, 1933, to the late James “Jimmy” and Willie Mae Allen Puckett in Henry, TN. He graduated from Central High School, served in the Army during the Korean War and a retired employee of Paris Board of Public Utilities. On October 5, 1954, he married the late Lula Mozell Jones Puckett. He is survived by his daughters, Tinita (Charles) Johnson and Kay Nolen; seven grandchildren, Rico (Brae) Puckett, Atlantis White, Pedra Puckett, Lonnie Puckett, Jr., Jeffery Puckett, Jr., Nadia Odell and Mikia Smith; eleven great grandchildren, Isis Puckett, Alyssia Puckett, Zayden Puckett, Chloe Bell, Alex Jones, Adain Odell, Wynter Odell, Kaliea Smith, Hydia Smith, Kalunn Henderson and Mikyla Smith; aunt Waynie Puckett; uncle, Leroy Allen; niece, Dawn Cates; daughter in law, Ruby Puckett; brother in law, Dr. Bobby Jones and a special cousin, Brenda Guinyard. In Addition to his wife and parents he was also preceded in death by his sons, Jeffery Puckett and Lonnie Puckett; granddaughter, LaTasha Puckett and a brother James Cates.
