Jeffery Lynn Ervin, Sr.

Mr. Jeffery Lynn Ervin, Sr., 70, of Union City died Sunday, October 8, 2023, at his home. Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 14, 2023, at McPhearson-Rawls Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in East View Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at McPhearson-Rawls Funeral Home. Jeffery Lynn Ervin, Sr., was born on February 2, 1953, in Obion, TN to John Thomas Ervin, Sr., and Amy Marie Brown Ervin. He graduated from Obion Central High School, a veteran of the United States Army and the Tennessee Army National Guard. He was a retired Goodyear employee. He was married for 33 years to Connie Ervin to this union three children were born. Jeffery was preceded in death by his parents, John and Amy Ervin; a son Rodney Ervin; and a brother, John Thomas Ervin, Jr. He is survived by his children, Jeffery Lynn (Sherita) Ervin, Jr., of Union City, Katobia Ervin of New Orleans and Tevin Ervin of Union City; twelve grandchildren; siblings, William Burl (Amy) Ervin of Union City and Darlene (Donnie Ray) Ervin of Obion; a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins.
