Mr. Jerry Lynn Taylor, 52, of Fulton died Sunday, December 11, 2022, at his residence. Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 15, 2022, at Brooks Chapel Kingdom Harvest Church. Interment will follow in Greenlea Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday at the church. Jerry Lynn Taylor was born on August 19, 1970, to Pearlie Murphy-Taylor and the late James Edward Taylor. He professed a hope in Christ and was a member of Greater Deliverance Ministries in Fulton, Kentucky. He was a lifelong resident of Fulton, KY and attended Fulton City High School. He was a member of the Murray State Upward Bound from 1986-1988. He enlisted in the United States Army from 1989-1991. Jerry was preceded in death by his father, James E. Taylor, his maternal grandmother, Mary Jane Murphy and his great grandmother, Mamie Ware as well as his paternal grandparents, Johnny and Augusta Taylor. Jerry leaves to cherish his memories, his mother and stepfather “Pops,” Pearlie and Nolan Hardin, two daughters, Brittney Taylor (AriAna and Aniiya) of Union City, TN, Christian Taylor (Kendall and Kahlanni) of Fulton, KY and one son Cody Taylor (JaKyrie, Khloe, and Cody Jr.) of Martin, TN, his siblings, Tramel Kerney and Amy Taylor of Lavergne, TN, Elliott Taylor and April (Mitchell) Purefide of Fulton, KY, a lifelong friend, Michael Thomas of Fulton, KY, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
