Jessie James Pirtle

Mr. Jessie James Pirtle, 65, of Union City, TN Monday, October 6, 2014, at Union City Manor Nursing and Rehab. Memorial visitation only will be held on Sunday, October 12, 2014, at 2 p.m. until 3 p.m. at Rawls Funeral Home Chapel. He was born December 4, 1948, in Bolivar, TN to the late Roosevelt and Naddie B. (Harris) Pirtle. He was married to Connie (Burlison) Pirtle. He was a former factory worker. He is survived by his wife, Connie Pirtle of Union City, TN; a daughter, Ashley Burlison of Union City, TN; four sons, Marcus Burlison of Union City, TN, Kevin Burlison of Colorado Springs, CO, Nicholas Powell and Shaie Tate both of Newbern, TN; five brothers, Roosevelt Pirtle, Jr., of Nashville, TN, Simon Pirtle and Bobby Hayes of Newbern, TN, Raymond and Robert Pirtle both of Cedar Rapids, IA; several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
