Jimmie Lela Dumas

Ms. Jimmie Lela Dumas, 86, of Paris died Friday, December 21, 2012, at Henry County Medical Center. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, December 29, 2012, at Cedar Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Cottage Grove. The Rev. Kenneth Humphreys will officiate. She was born July 17, 1926, in Cottage Grove, she was a daughter of the late Walter and Beatrice Dumas. She was the oldest member of Cedar Hill Missionary Baptist Church. She leaves one daughter: Jacqueline Boyd of Paris; two sons: Floyd Dumas and special friend Amy Russell, and Calvin (Christy) Dumas, all of Paris; ten grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren seven nieces; seven nephews; and several other relatives.
