Mr. Jimmy Louis Johnson, 72, of Hickman, KY died Thursday, July 21, 2011, at Obion County Nursing Home. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, July 25, 2011, at Rawls Funeral Home Chapel with Graham McGill officiating. Interment will follow in Hickman City Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. on Monday. He was born in Martin on September 1, 1938, son of Ezell Johnson of Martin and the late Verna Mae Johnson. He was a former Tyson Food employee. His wife Ernestine (Cobb) Johnson preceded him in death. He is also survived by his brothers, Bobby Joe Johnson of New Jersey, Willie Johnson of Louisville and Frank Johnson of Kankakee; seven stepchildren, Vanessa Alexander of Union City, Tennessee,Carmella Cobb and Minnie Williams, both of Chicago, Illinois, Charlotte Udley, Clementine Warren and Leon Cobb all of Hickman, Kentucky and Alice Hiethecker of Minnesota; and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
