Joe Brown

Mr. Joe Brown, 54, of South Fulton died Tuesday, January 10, 2017, at his residence. Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, January 14, 2017, at New Beginnings Ministries in Water Valley, KY. Interment will follow in Greenlea Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Friday at Rawls Funeral Home and also on Saturday from noon until time of service at the church. Joseph “Joe” Brown, Jr., was born on March 21, 1962, in Hickman, KY to the late Joseph and Tempie Ann Harris Brown. He attended South Fulton High School, a faithful deacon at Mt. Gilead Missionary Baptist Church in Columbus, KY and a former Wal-Mart employee. Joe is survived by his children, Joe Lynntrail (Penny) Brown of Fulton, KY, Ronnie Cory Brown of Paducah, KY, Jordan Cortrail Brown and Shaylyn Brown both of South Fulton, TN, Joshua Townsend of Russellville, KY and Timothy Townsend of Lebanon, TN; nine grandchildren; a brother John (Terry) Harris of Kankakee, IL; eight sisters, Earlene Saxton, Daisy Harris, Darlene (Rev. Anthony) Johnson, Sr., all of South Fulton, TN, Annie Pledge, Linda Harris, Joann Brown, Vickie (David) Dickerson all of Fulton, KY and Diane (Mike) Taylor of Marysville, OH, a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and a special friend Gaylene Sampson of Jacksonville, FL.
