Joe Wiggins, Jr.

Mr. Joseph "Joe" Wiggins, Jr., 62, of Union City died Saturday, July 23, 2022, at Diversicare in Martin.

Services will be held at noon on Saturday, July 30, 2022, at Brown Chapel AME Church. Interment will follow in East View Cemetery.

Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at the church.

Joseph Wiggins, Jr., was born on May 20, 1960, to the late Joseph Wiggins, Sr. and Lenell Wiggins-Russell in Chicago, IL.

Joseph lived life to the fullest. He was loved and respected by many. He never met a stranger, he was always open, honest and real. Joe loved everybody in his own special way. Our family gatherings are never going to be the same. In his famous words “It Will Get Greater Later.”

He is survived by his children, Kevin, Erica, Brandon, Shannon and Lil Joe; his companion, Margie; two stepchildren, Victor and Tikeena; host of grandchildren; siblings, Melinda (Edgar), Stanley, Kem (David), Bruce, Kevin, Diane and a younger sister who preceded him in death Lessie Rena; host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
