Joseph Thomas Alley

Mr. Joseph Thomas Alley, 76, of Dresden died Friday, June 17, 2011, at Volunteer Community Hospital. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 25, 2011, at St. James CME Church in Dresden. Interment will follow in Sunrise Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. on Saturday at the church. He was born September 2, 1934, to the late Rev. Herod and Mary Ruth Hamilton Alley in Dresden, TN. He was a retired electronics worker, U.S. Air Force veteran and a member of St. James CME Church. He is survived by three sons, Rev. Michael (Rhonda) Alley of Murfreesboro, TN, Rodney Alley of Dresden, TN and Reginald (Laynette) Alley of Church Hill, TN; one daughter, Andrea Denise Harris of Murfreesboro, TN; two brothers; Charles (Shirley) Alley and Roland Alley both of Dresden, TN; nine grandchildren and host of nieces and nephews.
