Juanita Hussey

Mrs. Juanita Hussey, 79, of Union City died Thursday, December 17, 2020, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.

A viewing will be held from 9:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. on Wednesday, December 23, 2020, at Rawls Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in East View Cemetery.

Mrs. Juanita Jefferson Hussey was born to the late Rufus and Maude Lee Jeffries in Grand Junction, TN on March 3, 1941. She was the fifth born of the five children.

She was united in holy matrimony on July 6, 1956 to the late Jenus Hussey; and to this union eight children were born.

She worked for Goodyear Tire & Rubber in Union City, TN for over 30 years until she retired.

She leaves to cherish her memories: Edward (Janis) Hussey of Martin, TN, Barbara Hussey of Kankakee, IL, Larry Hussey, Sr of Union City, TN, Micheal (Deborah) Hussey of Kenton, TN, Howard Hussey of Union City, TN and Janice Hussey of Lexington, TN. She is also survived by three siblings; Mary Avent of South Fulton, TN, Lawrence Jefferson of Chicago, IL, and Koreen Jeffries of Kankakee, IL; daughter in law Sylvia Hussey of Columbus, KY, ten grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jenus Hussey; her parents Rufus and Maude Lee Jeffries; one brother James “Frank” Jeffries; two children Billy Hussey and Dianne Hussey
