Mrs. Julia Mae Osler, 91, of Fulton died Tuesday, May 12, 2015, at Haws Memorial Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 23, 2015, at Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Marvin Mercer, Sr., officiating. Interment will follow in Greenlea Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. on Saturday at the church. She was born January 6, 1924 at Hickory Valley, TN to Williams and Annie (Andrews) Avent. She was married to the late Isaac Osler; she attended Bolivar, TN schools and was a graduate. She dedicated her life to God at Mount Olive Baptist Church in South Fulton, TN. She is survived by one sister: Clara Kimp of Broken Arrow, OK; One daughter, Dolly Times (Dan) of St. Louis, MO; Grandchildren: Robert Avent, Angela Washington, Rashonda Brown, Natasha Avent, Robert Brown Jr, Shayla Brown Robertson, Robert Stephon Brown, Ashley Lewis, Ryan Brown, Kamilya Brown, Jamilya Brown, James Stampley, Julia Butler, and a host of great great grandchildren and nephews and two nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents William and Annie Avent, her husband Isaac Osler, two sons James Robert Avent and Johnny Osler, one daughter Dorothy Jean Avent, six brothers William Avent, John Avent, Robert Avent, James Avent, Mose Avent and George Washington Avent, two sisters Annie Polk and Georgia Avent and one grandson Mario Brown.
