Ms. Kathy Ann "Kat" Boddie, 35, of Union City died Thursday, December 3, 2015, at Tennova Healthcare - Volunteer Martin. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, December 8, 2015, at Anointed Church Of The Living God with Bro. Jesse Webb officiating. Interment will follow in Beach Grove Cemetery in Obion. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. on Tuesday at the church. She was born July 2, 1980 in Union City. Kathy graduated from UTM with her business degree. She was a long-time member of Third Street Church of Christ of Obion. She leaves behind her son, Xavier Deonte Lake of Union City; a stepdaughter, Mercedes Lake of Ripley; her mother, Dorothy Boddie of Union City; her father, James Boddie of Union City; two sisters, Linda Boddie Bryant of Chicago and Tammi Boddie of Union City; one brother, Corey Boddie of Cedar Rapids; her grandmother, Parthena Fulton of Union City; four nephews and four nieces, Aaliyah Lambert, Robert Lambert, Omari Coleman, Yaryiah Coleman, Adryian Coleman, Shakia Boddie, Kedryn Boddie and Josie Boddie; one great niece, Ja’Liyah Lambert and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
