Colbert passed in 1991. Katie was a happy fun loving person who left a lasting impression with everyone she met. She never met a stranger and loved spending time with family and making people laugh. She leaves to cherish her memory; her older sister, Ophelia Buckley who was her caregiver until her health declined as well as family caregivers Jewell and Charles Exum and Rev. Darrin and YaVonnda Smith and as a host of nieces and nephews who will hold her memory dear to their hearts. Katie will also be missed by her step-children, the children of Colbert, all of whom held a special place in her heart. Rawls Funeral Home – Paris 731-642-1515
