Mr. Knox “Hooker” Edward McFall, 82, of Union City died Monday, March 26, 2018, at his home. Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, March 30, 2018, at New Hope Freewill Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Eastview Cemetery. Visitation will begin at noon on Friday at the church. He was born on June 4, 1935, in Union City to the late Willie and Odell (Trice) McFall. He was a member of Brown Chapel AME Church, a graduate of Miles High School, United States Army Veteran, a mason, member of the Lions Club, retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co., retired from Union City Forklift and was the owner of The Last Word Café. He is survived by his wife, Diane Holder McFall; children, Judy Jones of Union City, TN, Toni (Cedric) Hampton of Jackson, TN and Tammie (Myron) Edwards of Memphis, TN; stepchildren, Demecca Whitby, Terrell (Winter) Davis, Thomas Moffatt and Julius Foster all of Union City, TN; brother, Willie Lee McFall of Union City, TN; a sister, Jeanette Williams of Union City, TN; aunt, Arnetta Johnson of Ann Arbor, MI; two cousin, Melba Mackins and Mary Martin of Minneapolis, MN and a host of grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
