Mrs. LaTrisha "Missy" Snipes, 55, of Murray formerly of Paris died Friday, March 1, 2024, at Henry County Medical Center.
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 12, 2024, at Church In Paris (CIP). Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
Visitation will begin at noon on Tuesday at the church.
LaTrisha “Missy” Lanelle Love-Snipes was born in Paris, TN to the late James Harper and Helen Scott on March 9, 1968.
She obtained her G.E.D. and later completed some college at Austin Peay.
She worked as a private sitter and a tax preparer until her health failed, then she started a business in which satisfied her passion for making crafts called Missy’s Creative Blessings. She was a faithful member of Church of the Living God.
LaTrisha was a strong believer. She found joy in being there for not only her family but also those in need to give love, encouragement, and support. She always had open arms and a warm motherly spirit.
She found great joy in spending time with her children, grandchildren, family and friends, as well as indulging in her crafts. Her love and motherly warmth will be greatly missed and cherished by those she touched.
LaTrisha is leaving behind to cherish her memories: her loving mother, Helen Scott; brother, Tharon (Chynna) Johnson; sisters: Collette (Lamont) Beasley and Tracy (Jimmie) Edwards; children: James Harper II, Rodney Harper, Gary M. Sanders, Ana “Meshay” Sanders, and Dorian Sanders; grandchildren: Traveon “Harper” Dunlap, Damarius Harper, Jathan Harper, Noah Harper, Mason Sanders, Decilyn Sanders, Joyous Harper, and Eli Key; great granddaughter, Rose “Harper” Dunlap.
Preceding her in death are her father, James Harper ; step-father, Thomas “TomCat” Scott, and grandparents: Charlie & Annie Williams.
