L.B. Reynolds

Mr. Louis B. “L.B.” Reynolds, 89, of Puryear died Sunday, May 5, 2013, at Henry County Medical Center. Services will be Friday, May 10, 2013, at 1 p.m. at Union Grove Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Thomas Taylor officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. on Friday at the church. He was the son of the late Louis and Mary Reynolds, was born on January 10, 1924. He was married to Ruberta Puckett Reynolds on January 25, 1945. He professed a hope in Christ at an early age and united with the Union Grove Missionary Baptist Church where he served many years as a Deacon until his health failed. He was employed at the Laird Brick Company for over 25 years. He was a devoted husband and father. He leaves to cherish his memory a wife, Ruberta Puckett Reynolds; five daughters, Gladys Reynolds, Cincinnati, Ohio, Beatrice (James) Heflin, Dayton, Ohio, Jeanette and Elizabeth Reynolds, Dayton, Ohio and Deborah Reynolds, Puryear, Tennessee; three sons, George (Ann) Mayo, Newnan, Georgia, Donald (Janice) Reynolds, Knoxville, Tennessee and Michael Reynolds, Puryear, Tennessee; eight grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
