Mr. Lee Ingram, 67, died Tuesday, October 11, 2016, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City. Memorial Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, October 19, 2016, at Rawls Funeral Home Chapel in South Fulton. Mr. Lee Elco Ingram was born in Fulton, Kentucky to the late Harvey and Marie Ingram on June 4, 1949. He accepted Christ at an early age at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, Fulton, KY. He later became a member of the Church of Christ, Obion, TN under the leadership of Bro. Terrence Mannis. He attended Milton Elementary School and South Fulton High School where he graduated in 1967. He was a very good athlete in both football and basketball. The contribution he made in football and basketball was a headliner every week in the local newspaper. Upon completing high school, he enrolled at West Kentucky Vocational School in Paducah, KY where he enrolled in a two-year course in Electricity. In 1972 he moved to Clinton, Iowa. He was employed with Purina Dog Food as a truck driver for several years and later moved back to South Fulton. He was later employed with Sta-Rite and Tyson of Union City, TN. In 1975 he was united in Holy Matrimony to Carol Byrd. To this union two children was born; Nichole and Amber. He was also the father of Tonganita and Denyse. Lee’s pastime was his music, entertaining family and friends, and the life he shared with DeShon, DeVince, Brandon, Maquis Jaermize, Brakie, Jordan, and Kenshon that he was very fond and devoted to. He was always sure not to miss a “Family Reunion” or Family Holiday Dinners. He leave to cherish his memory, four daughters; Tonganita Porterfield, South Fulton, TN; Denyse Jeanville, Clinton, IA; Nichole Ingram, South Fulton, TN and Amber (Brandon) Fowler; Hornbeak, TN; one sister, Andrea (Stafford) King, South Fulton, TN; one brother, Alan (Thelma) Ingram , South Fulton, TN; twelve grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; His long and devoted companion, Annie Townsend, Union City, TN; and a host of nieces, nephews, uncles, cousins, and friends.
