Mrs. Lenette Rochell Humphrey, 66, of Martin died Thursday, January 4, 2024, at West Tennessee Healthcare Volunteer Hospital.
Services will be held at noon on Saturday, January 13, 2024, at Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church in Humboldt.
Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at the church.
Interment will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 15, 2024, in Lovvorn Cemetery in Murfreesboro.
Lenetta Rochelle Humphrey was born on October 3, 1958, in Nashville, Tennessee to the late Irene Watkins and John Thomas Vance Jr.
Lenetta accepted Christ at an early age in Nashville, TN at Phillips Chapel C.M.E. Church.
Lenetta was educated in the Metropolitan Nashville public school system. Lenetta earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Tennessee at Martin and later went on to earn two master's degrees from the University of Phoenix and Regents University.
She leaves to cherish and honor her memory four loving and devoted Son's, Antoine Britten, Richard (Genice) Britten, Thomas Rawles Ill, Aaron Woods Jr, Sisters Sheila Crawford, Roslian Humphrey, Ethel (Hershel) Brooks, Jackie Humphrey, Rochelle (Randall) Wade, Sheila King, Brothers Prince and Patrick Vance. Uncle Elder James (Suzie) Coure, Grandchildren, Ny'eya, Miona, Isaiah, Shanoviah, Mi'Yair and Richard Britten, Jr, Jaleigh and Brasi Woods, Tarion and Kalila Rawles, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Devoted Friends Marchelle Gardner, Sherry Martin, Dakota Mcdonald, Trina Harmon, Kiara Bennett, and countless other in the City of Martin, the city of Nashville, the City of Humboldt, and Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church.
Preceded in death by brothers Jerry Humphrey, Naja Cummings, Grandparents, Lillian and Hezekiah Humphrey and Best Friend Brenda Davis.
