Ms. Lizzie Mae Bell, 60, of Union City died Tuesday, June 30, 2015, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 7, 2015, at Rawls Funeral Home Chapel with Elder Stan Montgomery officiating. Interment will follow in East View Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Monday from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Rawls Funeral Home.
Lizzie Shields Bell was born in Hickman, Kentucky to Pearl Shields and Clyde
Mays on September 2, 1954.
She attended Hickman, Kentucky schools.
She is survived by five daughters, Mary Mays and Sherry Gauldin of Nashville, Tennessee, Michelle Bell of Rockford, Illinois and Colita Bell and Teyetha Bolden of Jackson, Tennessee; sixteen grandchildren ; seven great grandchildren; seven sisters, Alice Shields of Jackson, Tennessee, Dolly Shields, Angie Shields, Lauretta Shields, LeeAnn Shields, all of Clinton, Kentucky
and Patricia Mays and Dorothy Mays of Paducah, Kentucky; four brothers, Timmy Shields, Howard Shields and Ross Shields, all of Clinton, Kentucky and Clyde Mays of Michigan and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Judy Shields and her grandparents, John and Maggie Shields, Gladys Shields, Beulah Cox and Carrie Shields.
