Lois Crump was born February 19, 1945, in Paris Tennessee to the late Johnny B Dunlap and Johnnie Mae Tharpe Dunlap.
On October 18, 1968, she was united in holy matrimony to the late Wayne Crump. To this union one child was born. She was a devoted wife and mother. She joined the church at an early age and united with Union Grove Baptist Church. She was active in many church auxiliaries. Since that time, she spent many fruitful years in the Master’s service. She was many things to many people; a mother, an aunt, a grandmother, a friend, a godmother, and a child of God.
Even though she spent a lot of time in the church, she took the church with her everywhere she went. She was also an educator and social worker. Both were a calling from above.
She leaves behind one son; Garrick (Tiffany) Crump of Murray, KY, grandchildren; Marilyn Rebecca Crump of PawTuckett, RI, grandchildren; Matt Deese, Kendall Deese, and McKenzie (Abriel) Bellel, a great-great niece; Amy McWherter who she raised, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
