Lorasardrea Saxton, 51, passed away surrounded by loved ones on October 26, 2025. She was born on October 23, 1974, in Tacoma, Washington, to Lora Saxton (née Jones) and the late Benjamin Thomas Saxton, Sr.
Lorasardrea was a twin, born alongside her brother, Benjamin Thomas Saxton Jr., with whom she shared an unbreakable bond throughout her life. Lorasardrea grew up in Tacoma, where she attended school and later earned her GED. She spent several years living in California and Las Vegas before settling in Union City, Tennessee, in 2007 after learning she was expecting her beloved daughter. From that moment on, she dedicated her life to being a loving and devoted mother.
She was most recently employed at Tyson Foods in Union City, where she was known for her strong work ethic and vibrant personality. Lorasardrea was larger than life — full of love, laughter, and energy. She lived life on her own terms, spoke her truth boldly, and brought light and laughter to everyone around her. Her presence filled every room, and her love for family and friends was unconditional. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her.
Lorasardrea is survived by her daughter, Lorashannae Perkins; her mother, Lora Saxton; her twin brother, Benjamin Thomas Saxton, Jr.; her sister, Tashanna (Sherron) Cross of all of Union City, Tennessee; her sister, Tamerra (Nathan) Kohl of Baxter, Tennessee; her brother, Andrew Saxton of Atlanta, Georgia; a niece Jaidyn Kohl of Baxter Tn, and two nephews Aariyan Pirtle and Nasir Cross both of Union City. Her life was a gift to all who knew her, and her memory will live on through her family, her friends, and especially through her daughter, whom she loved beyond measure.
“Though she is gone from our sight, she will forever remain in our hearts.”
