Mr. Lorenzo “Meatball” Sturdivant, 55, died Monday, May 18, 2015, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
Graveside services will be held at noon Saturday, May 23, 2015, in Greenwood Cemetery. Interment will follow.
Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. on Saturday at Rawls Funeral Home Chapel.
He was born June 1, 1959, to the late Alfred Ward and Annie Sturdivant in Paris, Tennessee.
He was married to Shaundreka Shaw Sturdivant on October 1, 2010.
He was a member of Kingdom Vision Church. He had a talent for arts and crafts, a graduate of Tennessee College of Applied Technology in Residential Building Maintenance. He never met a stranger, was loved by many and was truly a loveable person.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Shaundreka Sturdivant; his children, Shimere Sturdivant and Malaysha Shaw; five brothers, Bobby Sturdivant, Isiah Sturdivant, Randall Sturdivant and George Sturdivant; five sisters, Dwella Sturdivant, Patricia Sturdivant, Jacqueline Strickland, Linda Jones and Kathleen Jones Briscoe; father-in-law Edward “Paw Paw” Shaw; a four legged friend Storm whom he truly adored and a host nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was also preceded in death by a son, Andre Tharpe.
