Lottie Perkins

Mrs. Lottie Perkins, 90, of Union City died Friday, October 30, 2015, at McCracken Nursing and Rehabilitation in Paducah. She was born to the late Dallas and Vinnie Barksdale in Carroll County Tennessee. She Graduated from Gibson County Training School, in Milan Tennessee May 1945. She was employed as a chef in restaurants in Milan, Tennessee and Union City, Tennessee for over thirty years. She was a member of Moores Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Sitka, Tennessee and New Hope Freewill Baptist Church, and Friendship Freewill Baptist Church in Union City, Tennessee. She was preceded in death by her only son James "Pug" Perkins July 2010. She leaves to mourn her death two siblings a sister Evelyn Hood of West Memphis, Ark., and a brother James Barksdale of Indianapolis, IN; her Guardians Nephew Kenneth B. Hurt and wife Varetta Hurt of Paducah, KY, sisters-in-law Annie Lee Perkins, and Carrie Perkins and host of other nephews, nieces, relatives, and friends. A visitation in Union City will be held at Rawls Funeral Home on Friday, November 6, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 a.m. at Moores Chapel Baptist Church in Sitka Tennessee on November 7, 2015. Visitation will be held at the Church from 10:00AM to the funeral hour. The burial will be in Cloverdale Cemetery in Milan, Tennessee. The repast will be at Moores Chapel in Sitka, Tennessee.
