Mr. Lowell Thomas, 50, of Union City died Friday, February 24, 2012, at The Bridge At Ridgely. Services will be held at 12 p.m. Tuesday, February 28, 2012, at Rawls Funeral Home Chapel with Graham McGill officiating. Interment will follow in East View Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. at the funeral home on Tuesday. He was born September 9, 1961, to the late James and Anna Margaret (Dysart) Thomas in Union City, Tennessee. He was a U.S. Navy veteran and a member of Triumph Church of God In Christ. He was married to Elsie (Jackson) Thomas of Kansas. He also leaves a son, Andrew Thomas; a daughter, April Thomas, both of California; two sisters, Bonnie Thomas of Nashville, & Vicky Roberson of Union City; three brothers, James (Evonne) Dysart of Michigan, Elbert Thomas & Michael (Joyce) Thomas, both of Union City; two uncles, Robert (Mary) Dysart & Ernest (Frances) Roberson; an aunt, Alberta Hall all of Union City; as well as a host of nieces, nephews & cousins.
