Lucas Morris

Mr. Lucas Morris, 83, of Fulton died Wednesday, June 18, 2014, at Parkway Regional Hospital. Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, June 23, 2014, at Greater Antioch Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Jessie Johnson and Rev. Floyd Green officiating. Interment will follow in Obion County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. on Monday at the church. He was born on December 25, 1930, in Cayce, KY to Marshall and Reba Morris. He was a member of Greater Antioch Missionary Baptist Church where he served as chairman of the deacon board. He served in the United States Marine Corps and a retired employee of Illinois Central Railroad. He is survived by his wife, Hazel Morris of Fulton, KY; children, Patricia Hayes and Marcus Johnson both of Paducah, KY, Stacey (Elizabeth) Easley of South Fulton, TN and Phyllis Wilbourn of California; a sister, Mona Lowe of Oakland, CA; fourteen grandchildren and thirty-eight great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Marshall and Reba Morris; two brothers, T.D. Morris and Duke Morris; two sisters, Veatrice Parks and Esther Mae Cerpew; a son Timmy Martin and a grandson, Bryan Martin.      Rawls Funeral Home – South Fulton 731-479-2181
