Lydia Jackson

April 11, 1954 — December 8, 2025

South Fulton

But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without practicality, and without hypocrisy. James 3:17

Lydia Jackson was born April 11, 1954, in Carriedo, Tayua Parqasinar in the Philippines. She was called home to be with the lord on December 8, 2025, at 10 pm in the comfort of her home.

She was born to the late Gloria Julba and Alfredo Gutierrez. She is married to her loving husband, Larry Jackson. She has three children, James, Teresa, and Brandon, who have provided her with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Lydia was an amazing and beautiful soul who loved her family. She was always cooking for and feeding her family and friends. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and coming to homecoming in Martin to see her family. One of her favorite pastimes was riding on the boat with her husband, Larry Jackson. Lydia was a very kind and outspoken woman, with a strong, gentle spirit. She is loved by all and will be greatly missed by her loved ones.

Lydia leaves behind her loving husband, Larry Jackson, her three children (James, Teresa, and Brandon), a host of grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Her mother-in-law, Diane McCorkle; sister-in-law, Shwan Smith; brother-in-law, Michale Arnold, and all of her nieces and nephews.

She is more precious than rubies: and all the things thou canst desire are not to be compared unto her. Length of days is in her right hand, and in her left-hand riches and honor. Her ways are ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace. She is a tree of life to them that lay hold upon her: and happy is everyone that retaineth her. Proverbs3:15-18
