Marcell Ingram

Mr. Marcell Ingram, 66, of Union City died December 3, 2024, in Georgia.

Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 14, 2024, at True Gospel Baptist Church. Interment will follow in East View Cemetery.

Visitation will begin at noon on Saturday at the church.

Marcell Ingram, 66, of Jackson, MI sadly passed away on December 3, 2024, after a lengthy battle with Lou Gehrig Disease (ALS). Marcell was born to the late L.B and Odell Ingram on November 16, 1958. After attending Parkside High School, Mr. Ingram moved to Union City, TN where he went on to serve as a machine operator for Goodyear Tire and Rubber Plant. Mr. Ingram also was a devoted member of True Gospel Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend Jerry King where he actively and proudly spread the gospel everywhere he went.

His family will remember him as a Godly man. In II Timothy 4: 6-8 "For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing." To his children, he was a loving man. He made sure to instill his values on them and to lead them to Christ.

Mr. Ingram is survived by his loving children, Tynshia Fountain, DiNiece Fountain, Tiffany Ingram, Sarah Alford, Tomeka Fountain, Alicia (Cody) McCartney and Kenneth (Amber) Brown Jr.; 4 grandchildren whom he adored Kendreaus Moss, Jaashun Ingram, Charnise Daniels and Leighton Holman; 6 sisters, Virginia (Vernon) Nelson, Patricia Moore, Holly B. (Michael) Anderson, Cloresa James, Fay Ingram, and Marilyn (Percy) Madison. 1 brother, Terry Ingram, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife Yvette Ingram, father L.B Ingram, mother Odell Ingram, and brother Darnell Ingram.
