Ms. Marilyn Binford, 86, of Martin died Tuesday, April 4, 2017, at Diversicare of Martin. Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 8, 2017, at Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Parham Cemetery.Visitation will begin at noon until time of service on Saturday at the church.Marilyn Marthalene Binford was born on October 29, 1930, to the late Robert “Kid” and Amelia Freeman Chandler. Marilyn was a faithful member of Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church until her health failed her. She graduated from Weakley County Training School in Martin and retired from Martin Medical Center. She leaves to cherish her memories four children, Mark Chandler of Fulton, KY, Kim (Jeff) Smith of South Fulton, TN, Keith Chandler of Chicago, IL and Bart Chandler of Martin, TN; eleven grandchildren, Elisha (Marvelle) Mays, Bartisha Chandler, Amelia Graves, Candace Chandler, Mark (Stephany) Chandler, Jr., Stedman Chandler, Keianna Chandler and Anniston Chandler all of Martin, TN, Rony (Pedro) Green of MS, Ronnie Chandler and Stephanie Chandler both of Chicago IL; eleven great grandchildren; three siblings, Allen Dale Couch and Wanda Terry both of Martin, TN and Teresa (Douglas) Green of Grand Rapids, Michigan; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
