Mr. Marvin Wilkins, 68, of Paris died Friday, November 4, 2011, at Saint Thomas Hospital in Nashville.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, November 7, 2011, at Rawls Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Robert Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
Visitation will begin at noon on Monday.
He was born on February 12, 1943, to the
late Roger Wilkins and Mary L. Alexander Wilkins.
He accepted Christ in his life at an early age. He
attended school in Henry County, Tennessee and was
employed at Replogle Saw Co. in Henry, Tennessee until
he retired.
The loved ones to cherish his memories are three sisters,
Gladys Long and Marilyn Alexander of Paris, Tennessee
and Velma Reid of Detroit, Michigan; two stepsons, Steve
and Bobby Patton of Paris, Tennessee; one stepdaughter,
Anna Arkharts of Murray, Kentucky and a host of nieces
and nephews, great nieces and great nephews and many
friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Roger Wilkins;
two brothers, Edward Ray Wilkins and Robert Alexander
and two sisters, Rogerlene Hughes and Marlene Cole.
