Mary Florence Barnett

Mrs. Mary Florence Barnett, 71, died Sunday, May 27, 2012, at her residence. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 29, 2012, at McCabe United Methodist Church with Rev. Jimmy Carter officiating. Interment will follow in Parham Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. at the church on Tuesday. She was born on August 6, 1940, in Weakley County, Tennessee to Marvin Edwards and Florence (Henderson) Edwards. She was united in Holy Matrimony to John David Barnett on May 15, 1966, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents and a son, John David (Felicia) Barnett. She leaves to cherish her memories a special friend, Henry Odum; her children, Otis (Cheryl) Edwards, Delores (Jeff) Cantrell, Earnest (Tengie) Edwards and Teresa Barnett (Kelvin Taylor); her brothers and sisters, Earnest Edwards, Willie Marvin Edwards, Effie Dean Gill, Robert Lee Edwards, Oddie B. Edwards, Patricia Ann Edwards, Annie Pearl Jones, Ethel Mae Edwards, Carolyn Thomas, Kenneth Edwards and Tyrone Edwards; thirteen grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
