Mary Francis Chrisp

Mary Francis Chrisp, 71, of Hickman died Friday, September 7, 2018, at her residence.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, September 14, 2018, at Johnson Chapel Missionary Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Hickman City Cemetery.

Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. on Friday at the church.

Mary Francis (Gilbert) Chrisp was born April 6, 1947, to the late Neoplis and Mary Eliza Gilbert of Hickman, Kentucky.

She professed a hope in Christ at a young age of her life.

She leaves to cherish her memories four grandchildren, Amber Chrisp of Hickman, Kentucky, Alanna and Alexander Chrisp of Paris, Tennessee and Bobby Chrisp of Union City, Tennessee; three sisters, Saddie Caldwell, Charlotte Udley and Lisa Smith of Hickman, Kentucky; eight brothers, A. D. (Mary) Gilbert of Henderson, Kentucky, Clarence (Ozella) Gilbert of Paducah, Kentucky, Carl (Janice) Gilbert, Jackie (Elizabeth) Gilbert, Joseph Gilbert, Leon Cobb and Charles Johnson of Hickman, Kentucky and Corey (Felisha) Smith of Fulton, Kentucky; one brother-in-law, Aaron (Jr.) Sanders of Bolivar, Tennessee; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her children, Hans and Veronica Chrisp; parents, Neoplis and Mary Eliza Gilbert; two sisters, Georgia Mae Gilbert and Lauretta Sanders and one brother, Leslie (Bud) Johnson.
