Mary Helen Hayes

Mrs. Mary Helen Hayes, 81, of Union City died Sunday, August 17, 2014, at Union City Nursing and Rehab Center. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, August 21, 2014, in East View Cemetery with Rev. Eugene Coleman officiating. Interment will follow in East View Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 9 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at the funeral home. She was born September 19, 1932, in Fulton County, Kentucky to the late Rev. Berkley and Audra (Harris) Morris. She was married to the late James Hayes. She was a member of New Hope Freewill Baptist Church and a retired cook at Union City Manor Nursing and Rehab Center. She is survived by a daughter, Beverly Hayes of Murray; and two granddaughters, Komega Hayes and Christian Hayes both of Murray; and several nieces and nephews.
