Mary Ruth Kendley

Ms. Mary Ruth Kendley, 72, of Paris died Wednesday, December 4, 2019, at Stonecreek Health and Rehabilitation in Paducah.

Services will be held at noon on Saturday, December 14, 2019, at Union Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Puryear. Interment will follow in Union Grove Cemetery.

She was born on November 24, 1947 to her late parents Willie and Agnus Lurline Kendley in Puryear, Tennesse.

Mary received her education from the Henry County School System and Central High School in the early 60’s. Mary was of a Baptist faith, becoming a member of Union Grove Baptist Church. Mary was a homemaker. She loved caring for her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings; Franklie Gutherie, Willie Reynolds, Louise Byars, Peggy Aldridge, William Kendley, Ike Kendley and love of her life Luke Junior Blanton.

Left behind to cherish her memories daughter Cowentia Kendley of Murray, KY; son Billy Kendley of Nashville, TN; brother, Mac Authur Kendley of Puryear, TN, Dorothy Cook of Paris, TN and Althea Giles of Louisville, KY; seven grandchildren, Jordan Kendley, Yasmine Kendley, Latia Kendley, Naiyah Kendley, Brandon Kendley, Shawn Blanton and Asia Blanton; two great grandchildren, Armonee Wright and Zaliey Kendley, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
