Mrs. Mary Dysart, 70, of Union City died Wednesday, December 16, 2020, at Mercy Health Lourdes Hospital in Paducah.
Gravesides services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, December 20, 2020, in East View Cemetery.
There will be no visitation.
Mrs. Mary Dysart affectionately known as “Mae” was born on May 8, 1950 to the late Joseph L. Steward and Carrie M. Steward – Jordan in Natchez, MS.
In her early 20’s she relocated to Union City, TN with her mother and stepfather Bishop James Jordan. She began her career as a nursing aide working for Golden Living Center providing genuine care for the loved ones in her community for many years. She later met her loving and dedicated husband Robert Dysart where they both resided in Union City, TN.
She is survived by her devoted husband Robert Dysart; daughter, Lekesha (Armand) Young of Mobile, AL; son, Gregory Steward of Los Angeles, CA; stepchildren, Kisha (Chris) Nicholson and Tim (Kii) Dysart of Columbus, OH. Michelle Frison of Union City, TN. Eighteen grandchildren; Elizabeth Bass, Kelvin Steward, Kennedy Steward all of Mobile, AL; London Nicholson, Jaylen Nicholson, DJ Nicholson, Isaiah Nicholson, Ellis Dysart, Shanterrika Dysart, Timothy Dysart, KayCee Dysart, Kennadee Dysart, Kye Dysart, Easten Dysart, Isaiah Dysart, Philip Dysart all of Columbus, OH. Tasha Frison and Mychal Frison of Union City, TN. Two great grandchildren; Faith Dysart and Malia Dysart of Columbus, OH. Five siblings; Hank (Caroline) Steward, Edward Steward, Ruth E. Booker all of Los Angeles, CA. Joshua Steward of Raleigh, NC. Tim Butler of Houston, TX; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 4 siblings: Joseph Steward, Carrie Pearce, Johnny Steward, and Timothy Steward.
