Mary Tharpe

Ms. Airlean Mary Tharpe, 91, of Springville died Tuesday, December 12, 2017, at her residence. Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, December 16, 2017, at Rawls Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Thomas Teague officiating. Interment will follow in New Hope Cemetery. Visitation will begin at noon on Saturday at the funeral home. She was born on May 5, 1926, to the late Burnie and Jo Ann Fenner Tharpe in Henry County, Tennessee. Airlean was educated in the Henry County School System. She was a member of Evergreen Baptist Church, Order of Eastern Star # 1953, Sister to Sister Club, retired Emerson Electric and H.I.S. Employee. She leaves to cherish her memories nieces, Sandra Tharpe, Bernita (Hoza) Hutcherson, Lisa Boyd, Jennie Tharpe and Wanda Tharpe; nephews, Edward Tharpe, Tony Tharpe, Derrick Tharpe, Kenneth Tharpe, Steven (Sonja) Tharpe and Vernon (Yolanda) Tharpe and a host of other relatives.   Rawls Funeral Home – Paris 731-642-1515
