Mr. Matthew Bennett, 34, of Antioch, Tennessee died Friday, May 27, 2016, in Chicago. Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 4, 2016, at Rawls Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Terry Fuller officiating. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will begin at noon on Saturday at the funeral home. Matthew Demar Bennett, known to family and friends as “Buster,” was born June 3, 1981, in Chicago, Illinois to his late parents Matthew Bennett and Jacqueline Howard Whitsey. Matthew was a thoughtful and loving person Matthew was educated in the Illinois School System. He graduated from Thorton Township High School, then attended the University of Phoenix. He worked in management at McDonald’s Restaurant. Cherishing and preserving his memories are his sister Kendra Paschall of Antioch, TN; Aunts Betty Joe Tharpe of Smyrna, TN, Thressa Williams of Chattanooga, TN, Gloria (Richard) Thomas of Paris, TN, and Melissa (Joe) Hyde of Antioch, TN; Uncles Billy (Annie) Howard of Oakland, TN, Larry (Francill) Howard of Harvey, LA, Michael (Karen) Wells of San Diego, CA; two Great Aunts, Jacqueline (Jenny) Tharpe and Cordia (Penny) Freeman, both of Paris, TN; niece Jacqueline Onuobia of Murfreesboro, TN; and a host of other relatives and friends.
