Mrs. Melissa Marie Wiley, 28, of Union City formerly of Hickman died Tuesday, October 15, 2013, at her residence. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, October 19, 2013, at Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. James Roberson officiating. Interment will follow in Hickman City Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. on Saturday at the church. She was a homemaker and attended Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Hickman, Kentucky. She was united in holy matrimony to Jeffrey Wiley. She is survived by her husband, Jeffrey Wiley of Union City, Tennessee; her parents, Anna (Warren) Johnson of Hickman, Kentucky; a special godson, Da'Kyran Gossett of Hickman, Kentucky; brothers, Troy’l (LaDonna) Gossett of Owensboro, Kentucky and Jerry Gossett, Jerome McElrath and Mario McElrath, all of Union City, Tennessee; sisters, LaKisha (J. R.) Winters of LaVergne, Tennessee and I’Kisa Gossett of Hickman, Kentucky; maternal grandparents, Alvin (Julia) Mackins of Hickman, Kentucky and paternal grandparent, Effie McElrath of Union City, Tennessee; special stepfathers, Anthony Browning of Hickman, Kentucky and Willis Gossett of Dyersburg, Tennessee; special grandmother, Betty Gossett of Hickman, Kentucky and a host of other relatives and friends.
