Michael Dickerson

Mr. Michael Dickerson, 56, of Kansas City, Kansas formerly of Fulton died Sunday, February 26, 2017, in Kansas City. Services will be held at 12 p.m. on Saturday, March 4, 2017, at The United Church of Living God. Interment will follow in Greenlea Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. on Saturday at the church. Michael Anthony Dickerson, was born May 21st 1960 to Joan Martin and Robert Dickerson. At an early age Michael accepted Christ into his life at the United Church of the Living God. Michael attended South Fulton High school, until he enlisted the Army in 1979, where he served as a cook until 1982. Michael relocated his family to Kansas City in 1983. Where we worked for several companies throughout the city. He was most recently employed at MWI Veterinary Supply in Kansas City, KS. Michael is survived by His wife, Ima Dickerson; sons, Turane Lamont Maddox Sr. (Suzi), Eric Dwayne Dickerson,(Candace), Anthony Don Dice; Daughter, Shaneka Luquita Dickerson all of Kansas City, MO; Sisters, Barbara Rander and Rachel Russell; brothers, Robert Rander all of Los Angeles, CA, and Kimra Louis Dickerson of Fulton Kentucky. Micheal also leaves behind eight granchildren , Tanesha Maddox, Tearies Maddox, Turane Maddox Jr, Treymon Maddox, Trevell Maddox, Titan Maddox ,Talia Maddox and Cadance Dickerson; One great grandchild , Tinia Maddox; Special friends, Sheryl Barnes and Diane Miller, Special granddaughters Rhaernynn Miller and Rayleigh Miller.Michael is preceded in death by his mother Joan Martin-Russell, Father Robert Dickerson.
