Mrs. Minnie Ann Ware, 91, of Hickman died Wednesday, September 7, 2016, at Diversicare of Fulton.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, September 10, 2016, at Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. James Roberson officiating. Interment will follow in Hickman City Cemetery.
Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. on Saturday at the church.
Minnie Ann Ware was born July 3, 1925, in Hickman, KY to the late Charlie and Mary Smith.
She gave her life to Christ at an early age. She was a faithful member of Lake Chapel Missionary Baptist Church until her health began to fail.
She leaves to cherish her memories her sister, Mary Ella Cole, of Hickman, KY; a son, Charlie (Evett) Smith of Fulton, KY; three step daughters, Carrie Wells, Dorothy Shaw and Flora Hearvey all of Memphis; nine grandchildren; twenty-nine great grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Ware; a brother James Lewis Smith; a daughter in law, Katherine Smith; two grandchildren, Lizabeth Smith and Jamie Turner and a great grandson; Jewel T. Smith.
