Ms. Pamela Lavette Bishop, 62, of Paducah formerly of Union City died Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at Baptist Health Paducah.
Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at West Hickman Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Hickman City Cemetery.
Visitation will begin at noon on Saturday at the church.
Pamela Lavette Bishop was born August 27, 1962, in Hickman, KY to the late Frank L. Bishop Sr. and Earlie Beatrice Bishop. She professed her faith in Christ at an early age at Church of Christ Holiness in Hickman, KY. She later became a member of Heartland Baptist Church in Paducah, KY.
Pamela attended Fulton County High School. After school she joined the work force at Ashtex Industries in Hickman, KY and various other jobs.
As a result of Pamela’s loyalty, passion for life, sense of humor and love to all her family and friends; she was truly loved by many. She is preceded in death by her father, Frank L. Bishop Sr. and Mother Earlie Beatrice Bishop; grandparents: Charlie and Mary Bishop, Idella Turner and Mr. Will White; and brother Ronnie Crumble.
She is survived by two daughters, Makisha Caldwell of South Fulton, TN and LaNecia Caldwell of Paducah, KY; six brothers: Frank L. Bishop Jr. (Joyce Bishop) of Union City, TN, Craig L. Bishop Sr. (Cynthia Bishop) of Fredericksurg, VA., Larry L. Bishop of St. Cloud, MN, Roy F. Bishop (Melissa Bishop) of Conyers, GA, James Hughes of Lagrange, KY, and Frankie Mason of Clinton, KY; and a host of grandkids, great-grandkids, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends; one special friend and cousin Mr. Greg Wilson; and a special granddaughter, Shawntrell Milan that she raised
