Patricia Ann Edwards

Mrs. Patricia Ann Edwards, 71, of Martin died Wednesday, January 5, 2022, at West Tennessee Healthcare Volunteer Hospital.

Visitation will begin at noon until 1:00 p.m. on Friday, January 7, 2022, at McCabe United Methodist Church.

Patricia Ann Edwards was born February 13, 1950, to the late Marvin and Florence Willie Lee Henderson Edwards. Patricia attended the Weakley County Training School where she played basketball as a forward until the age of 16 when she gave birth to her only child, Charolett. She was a member of McCabe United Methodist Church in Martin, TN. Many knew her as the “Pastry Lady” because she loved to bake and she never met a stranger. She was a hard worker, strong willed, and brutally honest.

Patricia began her career as the lead cook at the Top Hat in Martin, TN for a few years. After leaving the Top Hat she continued her career as a
cook at the Hearth Restaurant in Martin, TN. Even though she loved to cook, baking was her passion. This passion led her to accept the position as
head baker at the University of Tennessee at Martin’s Sodexo.

She is preceded in death by her daughter Charolett Edwards and her nine siblings, Ernest Edwards, Robert Lee Edwards, Willie Marvin Edwards, Mary Barnett, Oddie Edwards, Tyrone Edwards , and Ethel Edwards.

She leaves to cherish her memories; her grandchildren; Seonta Brown of Murfreesboro, TN, Dawn Pollock of Indianapolis, IN, Holly Harrison of Martin, TN, great-grandchildren; Paige Pollock, Brandon Pollock, Keelie Roach, Kalijah King, Audii Brown, and Ceptimber Wiggins. She is
also survived by four siblings, Effie Dean Gill, Kenneth (Doris) Edwards, Carolyn Thomas all of Martin, TN, Annie Pearl Jones of Sharon, TN, her niece/adopted daughter, Tracy (Kenneth) Edwards Jr. of Martin, TN, and a host of nieces, nephews, and a caring caregiver. Necole Walker.
