Paul Tharpe

Mr. Thomas Paul Tharpe, 65, of Paris died Wednesday, December 2, 2020, at St. Thomas Midtown Hospital in Nashville.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 2, 2021, at Rawls Funeral Home Chapel.

He was born on March 3, 1955, in Paris to the Hiawatha and Elsie Mae Hudson Tharpe of Paris. He was the first born of six children.

Paul was loved deeply by his family and will be truly missed.

In addition to his parents he is survived by his siblings, Betty (Robert) Willis, Imogene (Jose Mendosa) Tharpe, Hiawatha Tharpe and Elroy Tharpe all of Paris; uncles, Odell Tharpe, Raymond (Barbara) Tharpe and Robert Earl (Lillian) Tharpe all of Mansfield; a aunt, Katherine Walls of Murray and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Ray Tharpe; paternal grandparents, John and Estelle Teague Tharpe and maternal grandparents, William Perry and Lenora Teague Hudson.
